The most important thing when spinning the meteor is to keep the inertia constant. The inertia is the thing that keeps it straight during spin. So, swing the meteor sideways in order to gain inertia. Then start spinning it with your hands just like doing Propeller with staff (you can see the tutorial for it). Note that the hands are not in the center, because in that way the meteor is kept staright more easily. Note that this is not the easiest move with meteor and requires very much excercise.
